You Don’t Get to Preach What You Haven’t Lived

There’s a dangerous moment on the spiritual path. It’s the moment after you realize something, but before you’ve lived it. And in that gap, a lot of people become preachers of truths they haven’t yet earned.
We’ve all done it.
We discover a new insight that validates us, so we grab a megaphone and blast it into the world as if we invented it.
“I just discovered something, and so because I just discovered something, I now feel like I have the moral high ground to now preach it.”
And just like that, we become performative. We start talking at people. Not from curiosity, not from embodiment, not from a scar—but from the fresh wound of needing to feel worthy and right.
“So I’m going to immediately preach it, and the verbiage of language I use is this way, right? Where it’s like, this is how you need to think, this is now your new thought that you need to adopt.”
That’s not teaching. That’s ego in a spiritual outfit. And what makes it worse is that we know it. We can feel when someone is speaking from force instead of frequency. From performance instead of power.
But here’s the truth: if you haven’t walked the fire, you haven’t earned the right to lead anyone through it.
We don’t need more voices shouting into the void. We need people who can say:
“I was struggling with this. I came across this concept. I felt validated. And now I want to share it with the rest of you.”
That’s what humility with force looks like. That’s the energy of someone who has metabolized their experience. Who is worthy of being listened to because they’re real.
“It comes with humility. It comes with, I’m a real person going through the motions with you. I wasn’t born with the all-knowing wand that God bestowed upon me and the superiority of righteousness to cast upon all of you heathens.”
You want to be a thought leader? A guide? A healer? Then stop copy-pasting and start integrating. Stop quoting truths you haven't earned the right to speak. Stop hiding behind spiritual superiority while avoiding actual self-responsibility.
Because otherwise?
“You’re just a copy-paste bitch unless you live it.”
